OUR SUPERFOODS

ORANGES

We all know that oranges are one of the best sources of vitamin C, with just one enough to give you all your daily requirements. Vitamin C helps to super charge the immune system, protect cells from free-radical damage and also produces skin-firming collagen. Despite their sugar content, oranges have a low glycemic index thanks to their high amounts of polyphenols and fibre.

MANGO

Sometimes called the "king of fruits", Mango has an impressive nutritional profile. It's not only rich in fibre and antioxidants but one of the best fruit sources of vitamin A and C which we need for a strong immune system. They are also packed with minerals like potassium, calcium, and phosphorus and dozen types of antioxidants (polyphenols) which protect cells against damage.

TURMERIC

Used for centuries in Ayurvedic healing practices, Turmeric's main active ingredient is Curcumin which gives it its bright colour. Curcumin has powerful anti-inflammatory effects and is a very strong antioxidant. Not only it can neutralize free radicals on its own but also stimulates your body's own antioxidant enzymes!

CARROTS

As the perfect health food, carrots are full of nutrients, low in calories, and taste naturally sweet. They are high in beta-carotene (vitamin A) which can help restore skin elasticity, promote skin cell turnover, and prevent signs of ageing. They are also an excellent source of vitamin B, K and potassium and have been shown to help aid weight loss, lower cholesterol and even improve eye health.

HEMP

Hemp is of the best known source of high-quality, plant-based protein. What’s more, it's considered a complete protein with all the essential amino acids and is easily digestible. In particular, hemp is rich in the amino acid arginine which plays a role lowering blood pressure and preventing heart disease. To top that, hemp offers a naturally perfect 1:3 ratio of Omega-3 and Omega-6 Essential Fatty Acids as well as plenty of dietary fibre.

Ingredients (allergens in bold): Oranges, Mango,  Cashews, Carrot, Cauliflower, Coconut milk, Medjool dates, Coconut oil.

Boosters: Hemp seeds, Hemp protein, Camu Camu, Turmeric.

NUTRITION INFORMATION

HOW TO USE

1. Take your cup straight out of the freezer open it and peel off the seal.

2. Pour about 250ml (or 1 cup) of your preferred milk (or just water) in the cup and stir a little. We love this one with coconut milk.

3. Toss everything back in a high-speed blender and blend on high for 30 to 60s depeding on how smooth you want it

OK so I wouldn't call it a bomb as I didn't feel any particular changes to my energy levels, but it had a lovely subtle taste and I really enjoyed it
