OUR SUPERFOODS

OATS

Oats are a superfood in their own right thanks to their positive action on cholesterol (beta-glucans), cardiovascular diseases, blood sugar levels, blood pressure, athletic performance, and intestinal well-being. Thanks to their high soluble fibre and protein content, they are particularly satisfying.

RAW CACAO 

Perfect for chocoholics, raw cacao has earned its mantle as a superfood. Sugar-free, it contains an incredibly high amount of antioxidant polyphenols, which can reduce inflammation and improve cholesterol levels. It also boosts your mood, calms the nervous system and regulates heart rate due to its iron, fibre and magnesium content.

MACA 

Maca was long ago used by Peruvian warriors to increase their strength and endurance. It is known for its adaptogenic properties, helping the body adjust to stress, build up resistance to disease and support immunity. A natural energy booster maca has also been know to boost the libido.

QUINOA

An excellent source of complete plant protein (15%), quinoa is one of the most nutritient-dense cereals. Naturally rich in gluten-free fibre, it promotes digestion and gut health. Its low glycemic index will make you fill fuller for molonger so you avoid cravings before lunch

RASPBERRIES

Raspberries are low in sugar, high in fibre, loaded with vitamin C and rich in anti-aging antioxidants. What else can you really ask for? Ah yes, raspberry antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds are also associated with cancer protection.

INGREDIENTS

Allergens: oats, hazelnut

PORRIDGE: Ancient whole grain blend (gluten-free oats, buckwheat flakes, buckwheat groats, millet flakes, puffed amaranth), chia seeds, date paste, Madagascan vanilla extract, Himalayan pink sea salt.

BOOSTERS: raw cacao powder, maca, chicory root fibre (inulin)

CREAMY LAYERS: coconut cream, hazelnut butter

FRUITS: Raspberries

TOPPINGS: roasted hazelnuts, raw cocoa nibs, puffed quinoa, dried chopped dates

NUTRITION INFORMATION

HOW TO USE

2 Servings per pot

For the best results, prepare the whole cup at once. Once prepared keep refrigerated and consume within 2 days. Do not refreeze.

Overnight preparation (cold) - highly recommended *

  1. Take the cup out of the freezer, open and remove the toppings. 
  2. Cover the oats with cold milk of choice (about 175ml or to fill line) and stir well. Our pick: coconut milk.
  3. Put lid back and soak in the fridge overnight (6+ hours). 
  4. In the morning, give it a good stir, add the toppings and enjoy cold! Add lid back and take to go!
* Soaking your oats overnight is like cooking them without the damaging effects of heat. You keep all the vitamins and minerals and their naturally low Glycaemic Index. It also "activate" the grains, which helps your body utilize their nutrients much more efficiently and make them easier to digest.


To prepare in the morning (hot)

  1. Take the cup out of the freezer, open it and remove the toppings.
  2. Cover the oats with boiling water or milk of choice (about 175ml or to fill line) and stir well. Our pick: coconut milk.
  3. Put lid back and let stand for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir again, add the toppings and enjoy! Add lid back and take to go !

Alternatively add milk/water to fill line and microwave on high for 30-60 sec.

Easy to make and very tasty

I wasn’t quite sure how full I’d be with half the pot but surprisingly was super filling!
Interesting mix of flavours and something I wouldn’t have put together myself.
I did play around with the amount of milk as the pot thawed as adding milk to the fill line when it was first out the freezer certainly wasn’t 175ml...perfect consistency the next morning after topping up a few times
